Ntombebongo Peteni is deeply committed to research that celebrates and strengthens isiXhosa Home Language, Eco-pedagogical Literacy, and Multilingualism. She is especially passionate about discovering creative ways digital and online research methods can enrich language learning and education. Ntombebongo actively explores Coding, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence, excited by their potential to produce engaging and innovative educational resources.

She enjoys working with qualitative and mixed-methods approaches, especially visual methodologies and action research, because they allow her research to remain interactive, inclusive, and meaningful—not only academically but also practically, within the communities she cares about.
